Career Change

I’ve just qualified as a fitness coach as a way of changing my career and as a way to allow me to train more to become stronger for the ocean.

My previous career was in beauty therapy, a job I’d done since I was 18 years old. 12 years of doing the same thing was all I ever knew. I was bloody good at it and earned loads of money, but aged 33 I found it wasn’t fulfilling me anymore.

The cosmetics, the products, the materialistic world all of a sudden no longer appealed to me, so I went in search for a new career.

It’s been 3 months since I took the plunge and trained as a gym instructor.
I’ve got to admit, it’s pretty scary changing my career aged 34.
Despite doing exercise since I was a teenager, having been to numerous fitness classes and educating myself on fitness when it came to the crunch, it all became very daunting.

Thankfully, I have found a company to support us in my mission to change my career.  I want an excuse to roam around in my activewear allowing me to train at the drop of a hat. I’m wanting to help people improve their health, fitness, mental health and overall wellbeing through movement and fitness and inspire people to take on challenges and adventures.

And so here the story begins…..

Here is a post about the Body Aid Solutions Circuit Instructor course I took a few weeks back.

Thank you Body Aid Solutions for helping me with this qualification to get me on the right tracks and giving me an income to fund my adventures xxxx
