100km Indoor Rowing World Record

On Saturday 6th May 2017, I joined the Sub 7 indoor rowing team, to set a new World record for the fastest team to row 100km.

Rowing 20 strokes at maximum effort, followed by 4.5 minutes rest for 5.5 hours non-stop seemed doable, but it turned out it was tougher than it sounds.

We rowed 100km in 5:36:30.5 and now have confirmation from Concept2 that we are World record holders 🏆

Thank you to David Lloyd in North Finchley for having at us their gym and to Dimos Georgiades for organising the day.
